HOPE

Sometimes life feels strange. Right now, I find myself in unfamiliar territory, navigating circumstances I never expected. The comfort I hold onto is knowing that I am not alone. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit walk with me, and I imagine there are thousands of women around the world who understand this same feeling of uncertainty.

My faith remains steady, but life’s trials have a way of testing us from every direction. Some days, my goals seem close enough to touch; other days, they feel miles away. Yet I am determined to keep moving forward, taking each day moment by moment, challenge by challenge, and filling every second with hope.

This morning, during my walk, I experienced a sobering reminder of how fragile life can be. As I crossed the street with the light in my favor, a driver turned without noticing me and sideswiped my leg. Thankfully, I was not seriously injured, but the incident shook me. Had I been walking a little slower, I might not be here writing these words today. Moments like that have a way of putting everything into perspective.

Lately, I have been carrying the weight of grief, thinking about my sister every day and missing her more deeply than words can express. Experiences like this inevitably stir thoughts about heaven and those we long to see again. But for now, I am certain that my purpose remains here. I’ve got work to do.

I wanted to stop by and offer a word of encouragement to anyone who may be struggling. If you’re walking through a difficult season, please don’t give up. Hold on. Keep believing. Keep taking the next step. Even if you cannot see the walkway.

Life can be hard, and hope can sometimes feel distant, but it is never absent. Even when you cannot see it clearly, hope is still there, quietly waiting to lead you forward.
