My imagination …

Well, hello there. I have just invited you into my imagination. Although my physical body is not tucked away in a cozy cabin overlooking a beautiful lake on a rainy day, my mind is there. In reality, I am settling in to do some writing, but my heart is immersed in a wonderful book, allowing my imagination to carry me into its pages and see myself as one of its characters.

Sometimes, this is how I have to live life.

I dream of a beautiful life where every need is met—mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally—with nothing left undone and no longing left unfulfilled. Yet reality often finds me in a place where the deepest desires of my heart—you know, the ones we rarely dare to speak aloud—seem nowhere to be found.

Only God knows when, where, or how those desires will appear in my life. Until then, I have learned to find contentment in the gift of imagination.

Sure, some people might say I am unrealistic, overly hopeful, or even a little out of touch with reality. And perhaps they are not entirely wrong.

But despite everything, I still choose joy.

I choose peace.

I choose happiness.

I choose contentment.

And above all, I choose love.

I refuse to allow life’s disappointments to rob me of the beauty that still exists within my dreams. So even if every dream does not come true on this side of heaven, I can still visit those places, experience those moments, and embrace those possibilities through the power of imagination.

For me, that is not escaping reality, rather, it is practicing hope.

So I encourage you to begin living as though things are already falling into place. Choose gratitude before the blessing arrives. Choose peace before the answer comes. Choose joy before the circumstances change.

Because one day, in God’s perfect timing, everything will be made right. I promise you it will.

And until then, there is nothing wrong with letting your imagination remind you of what is still possible.

NUGGET: Never allow anyone to lead you to believe that imagination is the denial of reality- it is not; allow it to be the bridge between present circumstances and future hope.

Stay Connected.
